In celebration of Matariki, Council will be holding the Kawerau Community Award during the week of Matariki. The Award acknowledges individuals or groups who have made an outstanding contribution to the Community of Kawerau for their:
Voluntary work
Community Impact
Group Contribution
Contribution by a young person
If you know of someone from Kawerau, who is deserving of this Award, please collect a Nomination form from our Council office or fill it out here. Nomination forms can be returned to the office or emailed to info@kaweraudc.govt.nz
Nominations OPEN on Thursday 23 May and CLOSE on Wednesday 12 June 2024.
The Awards will be held on Wednesday 26 June 2024 at 1pm.
