Wandering Stock can pose a significant hazard on our roads and could cause a fatal accident.  If you see livestock loose or lying on our District roads, call us immediately on 07 306 9009.

Note that the NZ Transport Agency should be contacted for any incidents of Wandering Stock on State Highway 34 and Tamarangi Drive.  Call their Freephone number 0800 4 HIGHWAYS (0800 44 44 49).

Again, for local Roads and for State Highways, if the situation poses an immediate threat to people's lives or safety, you can also contact the Police to report the situation (or dial *555 from a mobile phone).
