The Kawerau District Council are inviting expressions of interest from members of our Kawerau Community to grow participation, creation and exhibition of art and culture forms in Kawerau, as members of the Creative New Zealand Community Arts Scheme Committee.

The Committee comprises of 2 Councillors, 2 Iwi representatives, and 3 Community Arts representatives. The Committee meets at least twice each year to consider funding applications from Community groups seeking funding via the Creative New Community Arts Scheme.

Funded by Creative New Zealand (a central Government agency) that funds the arts in New Zealand.
