Responsible to the Chief Executive Officer for the transparent, efficient and effective planning, implementation and delivery of Council communications and engagement. The purpose of communications and engagement is to ensure that Council ably meets its obligations as local government to ensure Tangata Whenua Iwi, stakeholders and the community are involved in decision-making. 

Responsible to the Chief Executive Officer for the implementation of Council's housing strategy and delivery of residential developments comprising: Porritt Glade Lifestyle Village, Central Cove, Bell Street build and Hine Te Ariki development and the Stoneham Park Residential Development. Responsibility includes planning and project management, construction, and Village Manager of the Council-owned Porritt Glade Lifestyle Village undertaking day-to-day operation, sales enquiries and transactions of the 29-unit bespoke development.
